The intitial cost savings, speed of construction and long lasting durability makes asphalt the better choice for trails, subdivisions and parking lots.

Asphalt pavement can be placed more quickly than other products because it requires virtually no curing time.

For projects that require different stages of completion, asphalt is the answer. It allows you to place the base first, complete your building project, then place your surface layer upon completion. Completing the paving in stages provides a cleaner, easier work site and allows you to budget for the cost in stages as well.

Due to the flexible qualities of asphalt, it will actually last longer or as long as rigid pavements. These qualities also contribute to its strength and resistance to cracking.

The smooth surface of asphalt provides maximum tire contact with the trail., drive, or roadway, increasing skid-resistance. It’s safer in bad weather as well, heating more quickly to melt snow and ice.

Did you know that asphalt is the only paving material that is 100% recyclable? It is the most recycled material in America. Our parent company, River Products Company, has a recycle yard for concrete and asphalt products that we actively use to recycle materials during the construction process. When in need of repair, asphalt can be milled and resurfaced using these recycled materials.
